Planning on a Sept trip to Lisbon flying home from Madrid. My husband and I will spend 3 nights in Lisbon fly to Sevilla on day 4 ( late night flight). Planning on going by train to Sintra one of the days in Lisbon. Then unsure if 3 nights or 4 in Sevilla would be enough? Plan to train to Granada next, stay ? 3 nights. Finishing off with the train to Madrid for 2 nights. We are in our mid 50's in good health and love to walk stop and eat in outdoor cafe. We did Paris and Venice last year with a week in each and had time to really wonder the cities. This year we were going to rent a car in Lisbon and drop it off in Madrid until we saw the fees for drop off. There was no quick and easy way out of Lisbon except the plane. Have all the Rick Steves' books but really don't want to rush through the towns. Are we trying to do too much in 12 nights 13 days.
