Will be traveling in May 08 with a RS Group which ends in Lisbon. Would like to then travel to Canary Islands & stay for 2 days before flying home. Any recommendations on a place to stay which has easy access to major airport?

Check the flybudget.com site. I checked Lisbon to Tenerife and Fuerteventura. Other airports available though. Not sure if you can get anything direct.

Netta, how did you decide to visit the Canary islands? They're actually just rocky, sandy islands. Mallorca or Menorca in the Mediterranean or the Portuguese island of Madeira are actually much more romantic, pretty, offer much more of their own culture and are more easily accessible from Lisbon.
