We were in Lisbon in 1990 and stayed at a cheap hotel on a plaza. My notes are gone and so is my memory. I'm looking for the cafe/restaurant at the end of the plaza that was/is known for it's "Bifana" sandwiches: you could see them being made through the large window next to the sidewalk. Into a large cauldron of lard (that's what the guy told me it was), they threw handfuls of spices and thinly sliced beef which cooked until you ordered them. The beef was piled onto sliced rolls. Fantastic. We're heading back to Lisbon and would like to stay in the same area. Sorry I can't give more info. Anyone remember this place? Thanks. Mike
