Will be in Lisbon on a Sunday/Monday in May - whats available to do when the museums are closed? any suggestions for the immediate surrounding would be great? I think the area by the Aquarium & pedestrian zone will be open but what else?
Monday has always been my "check-in and recovery day" in LIS.
I think once or twice I went to the Mall by the Aquarium and then the Aquarium. I always like hitting the Contenente(?)Store which is kind of like a grocery store/department type store.
I used to enjoy a long walk past the Ped zone to the Old Expo grounds. You can grab a Pastel da Nata topped with cinnamon and people watch. That's always interesting...
Haven't been there in awhile so I'm at a loss for suggestions beyond that. Sorry! If something comes to me later, I'll be sure to post!
