Does anyone have any hotel suggestions or areas of Lisbon you would recommend staying in? I will be flying in and taking a train to Porto from there. Price is a factor but am I a female, solo traveler so I want to be in a safe neighborhood.

We stayed at the Residential Florescente. Affordable in a pedestrian street and close to the Train Station. Very good restaurant near by. Try Bom Jardim for the best grilled chicken!!!!

We also stayed in Residencia Florescenta recom in RS Guidebk . we were pleased all around.
