Travelling to Spain/Portugal in September. Suggestions needed for one night accomodations in Lisbon. Prefer historic section.

Suggest you try Residencial Florescente - very central in the old part of town. Staff friendly and helpful. Only thing I would say is "too bad you have only one night to stay in Lisbon.

A second for Residencial Florescente, which is on a pedestrian street and walking distance to all public transportation as well as some major sights. Also agree - you really need more than one day in Lisbon.

Why not look in the RS guide for hotel options? I am going in September and staying in Hotel Lisboa Plaza but there are a lot of other options and lots of different rates.
