http://www.voestalpine-stahlwelt.at/en Has anyone been to the steelworks place in Linz Austria? I thought it might be an interesting couple of hours to see some German industry at work. From what I can tell on their site, the tour is only in German (which we don't speak), but seeing the process might be interesting anyway. Thoughts?

We spent three days in Linz, but didn't see the steelworks. The downtown shopping street is wonderful, and there was farmers market in the square where we had sausage sandwiches and apple wine. We would go back to Linz. You are getting into the Tyrolean area and some of the shops sell appropriate clothes and accoutrements.

Thanks for the info. Just dawned on me what I said: that visiting this plant would be seeing German industry at work...but the plant is in Austria.
