Anyone have a good experience with a room say within 20 km of Lindau? It is for a mature couple. Are price range is 100-150 Euros/night (total)

Wasserburg am Bodensee is a beautiful little village just west of Lindau where we stayed at Hotel zum Lieben Augustin am See. Very nice and within your price range. http://www.hotel-lieber-augustin.de/dymeg/1,1,11.html

Is there a reason not to stay in Lindau itself? I really liked the Hotel Gasthof Sift, and it was under 100 Euro for a double in May....

Its been years but we stayed at the Alte Post Hotel in Lindau and it was really nice. It has been quite awhile but the website still looked good. http://www.alte-post-lindau.de/...
