Does anyone have any info on any lighthouses in either the North Sea or Baltic Sea? thinking about changing our itinerary to visit a couple unless it would not be worth the trip. Thanks!
Just curious: what time of the year are you going to the North Sea and Baltic Sea? * * * ¶ Since you asked for information but not necessarily personal experience, I haven't been to any but have noticed you can get lists of lighthouses in both locations by google searching on the words/phrases "lighthouse" "baltic sea" and "north sea"
Going to be there in November! thanks - I'll ck that out!
Ahhh, the North Sea and the Baltic in November. :) I imagine you're well aware of what to expect weather-wise, bundle up.
Lots of lighthouses in Belgium and the Netherlands, but the ones that you can really enter are extremely rare. On the Dutch Isle of Texel, there's a lighthouse open to the public: http://www.vuurtorentexel.nl/ (Dutch) http://vuurtorens.net/ is useful too, but only in Dutch. http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lijst_van_vuurtorens_in_Nederland (Dutch) http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lijst_van_vuurtorens_in_België (Dutch)
