Any thoughts on what to do and where to eat/grab a beer in Antwerp or Leuven?

In Leuven, grab a beer some evening at one of the cafes on the Oude Markt. If the weather is mild, you'll be joined by several hundred, if not thousand, students.
There's a few different beer spots in Antwerp- the Groenplaats, the Grote Markt, or the smaller plaats by the cathedral. I also found the Nationaal Scheepsvaartmuseum interesting, but this isn't for everyone. I'm not into fashion, but if you like shopping, many high-end boutiques line the pedestrian boulevard that runs from the train station to the Groenplaats.
