Less Than 24 hours Before Departure

We are less than 24 hours away from starting our trip and I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you on this site that have so patiently answered my questions and offered your insight. As a first-timer to Europe, I had many questions and you all were so gracious and patient in your responses! As a result, for our two weeks, I have an apt booked instead of a hotel and was able to save serious euros by watching the calendar and booking advance tix for the train to/from Normandy, an Overlord tour and the eiffel tower. Thanks to you, I now know the difference between a carnet and a metro pass, a Paris Pass and Museum Pass and the Metro vs. RER; I know NOT use the exchange counters at the airport and be sure to offer my Bonjour's and Au Revoir's to the Madame's and Monsieur's. We have a list of Tricare providers in the unlikely event we need them and hopefully, the seat issue with Delta will be resolved tomorrow and we will be able to sit together; me, him and unfortunately, my boot. My husband thanks you as well....he said because of you all, his only responsibilities were to pack, show up and bring the credit cards :o) .
Ten months planning to celebrate our 30 years.. definitely time well spent...Merci! Cici

Cici, Congratulations on your 30-years and hope you have an absolutely wonderful trip! I suspect this might be the first trip of many. I'll be close behind, as I leave on Thursday. Bon Voyage!
