Looking through the Paris 2007 guide, I was dismayed to discover no mention of Leo le Lion, a wonderful restaurant in the Rue Cler neighborhood. I ate there twice in 2000, and it has become one of my fondest memories of Paris. I am going back in December and I wanted to introduce my friends [new to Paris] to this marvelous, reasonably priced dining experience. Does anyone know why Leo le Lion is no longer recommended? Is it closed? ...or is it just no longer up to par? That would be very sad.
Joni, I hope Leo le Lion is still in business. I had never heard of it until looking into Google.com for it. If you get no info via Travelers Helpline, you might phone -- as a last resort. That number appears to be 08 99 78 19 78. All the best, P.
Joni, No Problem...discovered it last year with my son and went back twice during our visit to Paris last month.
Leo le Lion is truly an excellent dining experience.
