We would like some suggestions on planning a day of travel from Chenonceau in the Loire Valley ending after the tourist have started to leave at Mont Saint Michel. We will already have had a day in the Loire, perhaps renting a bike from Blois and going to Chambord and arriving in Chenonceau in the later afternoon where we will visit the chateau and stay the night. But I am undecided about our travel day. Do we spend the bulk tooling aroud the Loire? Do we shoot through to Brittany as Rick Steves' Heart of France trip does? Or does someone have another idea (like visiting farms where they make cheese)?
