Leaving Paris on May 22 Ascention holiday...traffic?

We have confirmed tickets on the TGV for Friday the 22 of May for our train trip to Avignon.

We have to be at the Paris Gare De Lyon station for our TGV ride at 13;16 on Friday the 22nd. The Ascention holiday starts on the 21st, so maybe? everyone has left town before us? What time should we leave...an hour early...or more? Will Paris be in the middle of a huge rush hour at noon on a Friday of a four day holiday weekend?

Also, should we cab from our apartment near the Cambronne Metro station, or take the Metro?

Take the metro; if there should be traffic your taxi could get stuck, but everyone leaving town for the Holiday will have already gone the day before.

Since the TGV's are pretty much full all the time, Friday the 22nd will look just like any other day.
