Do we book ahead for the cabaret? Did you enjoy this show? Recommendations?

They have a website, that should give you all the info, and it has videos of the show.

You will have to book ahead. I was checking for some dates in early May that are already unavailable.

Jona - why do you recommend Lido over Moulin Rouge -- would be interested in knowing the difference between the shows.

I would also look into some of the packages that include the show, dinner and a seine cruise (http://www.pariscityrama.com/). It ended up being slightly more than just booking the show/dinner independently.

I did this package my first night in Paris and had a wonderful, wonderful time. Not only was the show entertaining, we had dinner at the restaurant on the Eiffel Tower, took a cruise down the Siene and I got to meet other travelers (I was in Paris by myself) while enjoying the Paris nightlife safely.

As others have said, You might be better off going elsewhere.

I heard from a fellow Paris traveler last July, that it was touristry, very expensive, & he wished it had not gone.

Evidently, the show he went to was very late & he had to take a cab back, since the Metro was closed
