I will be staying in Le Hohwald (maybe) for 2 nights. How convenient is it to get to from Luzern and will I be able to travel by public transportation to Strasbourg and other nearby areas? I really don't want to rent a car. Also, how easy will it be to get to Bruges from Le Hohwald? Thanks a bunch!

Okay, we've narrowed it down but there are still two Hochwalds in Switzerland. Go to viamichelin.com and search on Hochwald Switzerland, it will show you both. Decide which one you're staying at. Then input that exact location, not just the word Hochwald, into the From box of this rail website: click hereThen use the rail website to see whether you can get from Hochwald to the points you're interested in getting to. It will tell you if trains don't go there.
