We are taking a cruise and one of the ports is La Havre, France. We would like to take one of the Battlebus tours. Does anyone know the best way to get to Bayeux from La Havre? We arrive in port at 8am and have to be back on the boat by 5pm. It looks like the two cities are 51 miles apart. Thanks in advance.

I think you have to spend the night in Bayeux to be able to take a Battlebus Tour. They ask you to put a local hotel you are staying in

travelfan's post is correct, at least that's the information we've always had here in the past about the Battlebus tours. There are other tours that might accommodate your itinerary, reply back here if you want a list of those.

I have taken one of the Battle Bus Tours. It was 9 hours. You have to meet at a designated pick-up place at 8 am...If my memory serves me right.
There tours are well worth the price. Due to the train schedules we arrive in Bayeux the day before our tour and left the day after.
