We arrive October 14, 2012 to the port of Le Havre for 2 days. Suggestions for an itinerary would be most welcome. Thanks so much.
Your question is too open-ended to answer. I assume you're arriving by cruise ship. Start by taking a look at the shore excursions offered by the cruise line. See what interests you. Then, ask here for more information. Places near Le Havre that are often mentioned on these boards are D-Day beaches, Honfleur, and Bayeux. Inland are Rouen and Giverny (Monet's Gardens). Further afield are Mont St. Michel and Paris. So, what are your interests? Would you be willing to rent a car? Are there any mobility limitations? What else are you seeing on this trip? The more information you post, the better others can help you.

Thank you so much for your reply. Sorry for the lack of information. We are arriving by cruise on a Sunday. Car rentals are not an option. We are very active and open to hiking, biking, etc. We are so far relegated to a cruise excursion to St. Mont Michele. We have 2 days in the port of Le Havre, Oct 14 and 15th. We are content to see Honfleur, but, would like to include another nearby area. Hoping once on board we can meet up with a couple who would be interested in sharing a taxi to Mont St. Michele,
If you haven't already done so, go to www.cruisecritic.com: 1. To get more information about your ports of call http://tinyurl.com/cxjjkw3. 2. To see what other cruisers have to say about your ports and your cruise in general http://tinyurl.com/ozb3o 3. To sign up for the "roll call" for your ship http://tinyurl.com/kpmftj. This will allow you to find other travelers on your sailing, so you can arrange in advance for sharing excursions (and join other people's excursions, to bring costs down).
