Thinking about visiting Lauterbrunnen and Murren in September 27-29. What can I expect weather wise?

September and early October are the driest times of the year, although that's no guarantee that it won't rain. Temperatures can be anything from an Indian summer to an early cold spell, but something pleasant in the middle is most likely. For hiking, September is the best month. Enjoy.

I second Tom's reply. September is absolutely the best month to be hiking in the alps. Have fun!
