Lauterbrunnen on a Sunday

I arrive ZRH on a Sunday, then train to Lauterbrunnen. I have been before, and I know it is kind of slow on a Sunday, most stores are closed. Is anything open? I'm traveling with too young boys, so I like to hit a store like the Coop to pick up some snacks, food, etc. But I know the Coop is closed. Any other options? Train to Interlaken? I know we won't starve, but keeping two young boys stocked up on those little supplies is essential to travel happiness.

All of the stores (including the supermarket) in the shopping mall/train station section of Zurich airport will be open on Sundays. But the supermarkets in Interlaken, and Lauterbrunnen will be closed.

There is a small Kiosk (like a small 7/11) store at the Interlaken Ost train station that is open on Sundays. We were just there a couple of weeks ago, and bought some sandwiches, chips and sodas on a Sunday.

I hope that you know that if your boys are 15 or under, they can travel free in Switzerland in the company of a parent with a valid ticket. Order a Swiss pass or card online and request the family card. It's free. If you wait until you arrive in Switzerland, I believe it's the Junior Card. Same thing only you pay 30CHF for it in Switzerland.

Maybe bring something with you from home in suitcase. Is Coop open in Interlaken?

Thank you all. We'll pick up a few things at the airport when we arrive. Will only need to last us 24 hours. Luckily my 3 year old is potty trained so I no longer need to buy diapers. :) Mike
