I would appreciate suggestions for a hotel in Lausanne for 2 nights.
As Rick suggests, we are using Lausanne as a home base, so hotels near the train station or with good transport from the train might be good.

You don't say how many people, or what kind of place you are looking for! My family is staying at the Lausanne Guesthouse, which is right next to the train station and gets reviews as "the best hostel in Europe". We are staying in a quad (2 sets of bunks) for $135 CHF per night. The web address is www.lausanne-guesthouse.ch. We hope it is a good as it looks!
