Can anyone recommend a good laundry and dry cleaning where (hopefully) someone speaks a small bit of english. I will be staying near the Groningen University main campus. Thank you!

Since you have no replies so far: 1. You may want to edit your post and change the title, to put in the name of the place you need the laundry (I assume it's Groningen in the Netherlands). To do this, use the Edit link over your name in your original post. 2. You may want to go on Trip Advisor, since they often have local users who will know about things like laundries. If you are asking about Groningen in the Netherlands, my Lonely Planet The Netherlands book lists Handy Wash, at Schuitendiep 58, phone 318-75-87. I've never been to Groningen, so I can't comment further.

Finding laundries is never very difficult. Just ask at your hotel. In some of the smaller hotels we have stayed at it the hotel offered to do our laundry for a reasonable fee. Self-laundry is far more common in European cities than the US.
