Large apartment needed in Paris

I've been to Paris many times by myself or with a friend or two - but in September 2014 we'll be a group of 5 women of a "certain age" and need a large apartment for a week. I've rented with Vacation in Paris several times and found them to be extremely helpful and trustworthy, but their stock of large apartments is pretty small. So I'd appreciate any helpful info - not just a list of rental agencies (I can find those myself online) but agencies you've used, liked and trusted. We're looking for a 3 bedroom place with at least 1 full and 1 half bath (or 2 full baths if possible), in the range of $3,000+ for the week, all inclusive. If it's located up more than 2 flights of stairs, we'd like an elevator.

I found my 1 bedroom apartment in Fall 2012 thru a suggestion on this list (it was great!) and I hope you can help me find a great one again!

Thanks!

Sorry I don't have a recommendation for you, Holly but would you consider 2 apartments in the same building?

I use parlerparisapartments.com, high end, beautiful with every feature you could need and a very helpful staff.
They have large apartments that would fill your needs.
Also, I use myparisvisit.com. Also have large apartments! I have used both many times with great success.

Happy Travels!

Take a look at Holidays-France-Rentals.com. Bernard has several large 2-3 bedrooms in his group. We are renting a 3 bedroom in May. This will be our 5-6th rental from this agency, have had very good luck. Bernard and his staff are very professional.

Good luck

Well, this isn't exactly what you are looking for but I was in a group of 5 women who rented Vacation in Paris #48 a couple of years ago. It has two bedrooms and a fold out sofa in the living room and most importantly, two full bathrooms. I slept on the fold out sofa and it was very comfortable. Having the two baths was great, we wouldn't have considered it otherwise. It is on the third floor however with no elevator. It's in a great location in the 6th arrondissement, just up the street from St Sulpice, close to Metro, a Monoprix, and a wonderful bakery. The price is within your budget. It worked well for us. Good luck.

Paula, Please do let me know what you think of your HomeAway apartment - and thanks for the offer! I'm asking the owner for a schematic b/c that allows me to "picture" the space in my mind.

The main things I'm interested in are:
1. Two bedrooms say they have a bed (Q or D) but then also a daybed/futon. Is that extra bed in the loft?
2. One bedroom says it has 2 D beds - again, is the 2nd one in the loft?
3. One bedroom says it has 2 sofas/futons - adequate for older woman to sleep on?
4. How was the kitchen (no pix online)? Large, well-stocked, etc.?
5. Was it all on one level (except lofts)?
6. Were things clean, in good repair, beds made, etc.?
7. Was the Wireless dependable?

Thanks!

Hi Holly

I recommend ParisforRent.com. We used it last in December 2012, the experience was exceptional. I worked with Patrick and found him to be responsive, accessible and timely. Enjoy the holiday in Paris. I can't wait to return soon.

Best,

Hi Holly,

I've been to paris not that long ago and i've stayed in an apartment from http://www.we-paris.com/ with 3 friends and we had a very nice stay. Don't know if they have anything suiting your needs but you should check it out.

Regards,

Ron
