With a limited space for response no way to write a guide book for you. Please, do some reading on your own and form some specific questions. And look at a map. Lot of distance between Paris, Venice, Rome, and Zurich. To the specific issues you raised. Train/plane would be more cost effective and convenient for two since you are mentioning only big cities. Paris to Rome is better serve by air. You could fly Paris to Rome and train back through Florence, Milan, to Zurich for your six days. Save Venice for the next trip.

You "could" include either Rome or Venice, but not both. Fly to either one, which to me uses up a whole day by the time you pack up and go to the airport, wait in line for security, take the flight, and get into your next city from the airport.

Then you could either fly or take the train to Zürich. Venice to Zürich by train is 7 hours; from Rome a bit more. Unless your flight leaves really late, and you are willing to take your chances with the vagaries of the italian train system, you would have to get there a day earlier and spend the night before your flight in Zürich (or nearby Luzern).

If you fly to Zürich, you might be able to connect the same day.

Driving would be your worst option. It would take far too long and you would pay a hefty fee for picking up a car in one country and dropping it in another.

Take the direct night train from Paris to either Rome or Venice. Or fly to either city on a budget airline. Visit only one of those cities. (Many people say that three days is enough for Venice so Rome might be a better choice this time.) Take the train from whichever one you visit to Zurich via Milan. (There are no budget airlines from either Rome or Venice to Zurich.)
