Lactase enzymes caplets available in europe?

Hi,
I'll be going to France in about 3 weeks and wonder if I will be able to buy the Lactase caplets there in case they wont let me take them on the plane. I am flying on a buddy pass and I can't check luggage as I might not go on a particular flight. Any solutions or do you know if you can take these tables on board? Richard

I cannot imagine why you could not take these on the plane with you, but if you want to make sure, call the airline and ask them. As far as buying them in France, you would need to know what they are called in French, though I am sure they have something similar there, as they do in most other countries. Maybe google a translation, or ask your pharmacist to look it up. They should be able to tell you this kind of information.

There is no reason that they wouldn't let you take them onboard. My daughter flies with them all the time with no problem.

In France it isn't so easy to find lactase caplets. Some "Pharmacie" sell a belgian product called "Lactose OK". In some Bio-shops (in french: magasin diététique), you can also find lactase caplets. In Paris, you can buy "Lactase 3500" from Solgar at Pharmacie anglaise, 62, av. des Champs-Elysées; 75008 Paris; Métro: Franklin D. Roosevelt or in the bio-shop, rue Mouffetard 96, Paris 5e (closed monday). Have a nice stay in France!
