Labyrinth

We have been to Chartres 3 times and have only seen the labyrinth fully exposed once. It is usually covered by hundreds of folding chairs! You might check their website to see if they have special days when the labyrinth is accessible. You might also try to email Malcolm Miller, a guide who books private tours and has written a very comprehensive book on Chartres. It is supposed to be uncovered on Fridays from Easter until September, plus midsummer day. It was uncovered the day we were there (June, 2008) and there were maybe ten people slowly walking it.
