Hello! I am headed to Barcelona in November, and wanted to know if it's necessary to purchase tickets in advance. I only hesitate because I have a large group and don't necessarily know for sure that I can make it within a specific time. If it's not too crowded, I'd like to leave myself with some flexibility. I noted that RS' book says that 45 minute waits for tickets can be typical. Anyone visit around this time of year?

November is off-season and I have been able to just walk right in, no wait. There is almost always a wait for the tower.

We were in Barcelona last month during the La Merce festival. The line for the Sagrado Familia was not that long. 15 minutes and we were inside.
