We are driving back to Paris end of Sept. from La Roque-Gageac and want to do a two day side trip w ould you stop at Dijon or Ttayes
Dijon is pretty far out of the way and I can't figure out your typo of Ttayes (although it's funny to try and pronounce). What about the Loire valley? Loved La Roque.
sorry did not have my readers , spelling is Troyes . Just want to see some more of the country on the drive back . Open to anything . Thanks Gina
Both are interesting, but Troyes is an hour further east. Both were very important medieval centers, but there is slightly more to see in Dijon and the Dijon region. One note, Troyes is the present day European capital of brand name shopping outlet stores, both European and US brands.
