Anyone ever been? It's located between Bonn/Koln and Frankfurt. Great town! Visited there 25 years ago and may be going to visit my long lost host family.

Sorry Ron, only been through it as a waypoint between Bonn and Koln.
It's really nice to have friends or relatives to visit. Plan on Bonn, Koln, Trier, Rhine and Mozel valleys as relatively short trips in the area. I would visit in mid September, the weather will be good but the crowds will have thinned. Plan to visit Bonnfest, IMO more fun and less touristy than Octoberfest in Munich.
