Has anyone knows if there are lockers for our backpacks at the train station in Koblenz?
We want to visit Burg Eltz Castle and we want to leave our backpacks some where near Moselkern.
Please advise.

I can't verify that they are there, but the DB map of the station in Koblenz shows lockers in the main building, just to the north of the tunnel connecting the tracks. If you will PM me your email address, I will email you the station layout.

As of a few weeks ago the lockers were still at the train station in Koblenz. I didn't use them so not sure of the cost (likely 3-4euro). As Ron said, get there early, it looked like a lot of them were in use in the late AM when we were going thru there.

We were there two months ago. There are lockers in Koblenz - popular ones along the hallway up to the tracks. If those are full, there are a bunch more towards the north end of the station (on the left, almost out the door).
There's nowhere near Moselkern to store your luggage, and barely anything in the town, so Koblenz is probably your best bet.
