Know a Paris Apt, 2 brm in early August?

Hello, I will travel approx. Aug 1-14 to Paris with my husband, floor-sleeping 8 year old, and 86 yo father(very mobile) who needs his own room. Any suggestions for a 2+ room, reasonably priced, centrally located, apartment/home. I've stayed in many of Rick's recommended hotels, but we'll be traveling 4-7 weeks so are looking for less expense, ideally kitchen inclusive digs. Thanks for taking the time!
Interested especially in YOUR experience. We use Vrbo, airbnb, Haven (for dreaming), and Lodgis.com, but RS readers, and friends experiences have huge value!

Janet that's going to be challenging, August is likely booking up, you may need to split it one week in one place and a week in another, since I bet its going to be harder finding one with two weeks in a row vacant. Have you tried VIP.. apparently they are well thought up most times.. I used Parisbestlodge last summer and loved them, but I know they have a smaller inventory so they likely are full.

We used VacationInParis and had a great apartment. They are reliable and have lots of apartments in Paris.

I agree with Pat that you may have trouble finding an apartment for 2 weeks this late in the game. It might actually be a good opportunity for you to explore 2 different neighborhoods. I use vrbo.com and homeaway.com to find apartments.

Try Cobblestay.com I'm booked with them for my trip in June and have found them to be professional and helpful to deal with. Their website has a lot of information and videos and photos of the properaties. If you're interested you may find it helpful to call and discuss your requirements. Good luck!

We booked a two bedroom through Paris Vacation Apartments. I don't know what your price range is. It looks like the two bedrooms run around $3000/week. When we stayed, our apartment was gorgeous. Beautiful view. Beautiful kitchen. Free Wi fi. And our building had a lift and air conditioning units in all of the rooms. The people that ran things were also very helpful. They helped us arrange cabs and tours when we were there. And we called a few times for directions or dinner suggestions.

Try myparisvisit.com. I have used them many times. Also, parlerparisapartments.com, is also one that I recommend highly. It is more expensive but first class all the way.
Happy Travels!
