Kitzbuhel vs. Garmisch for 1 day

Staying in Innsbruck - will visit Mittenwald and Salzburg. Of Kitzbuhel or Garmisch, which is preferred for 1 day visit?

I would say Kitzbühel. It looks like they both involve about the same amount of effort to get there - time, number of train changes, etc. I've been to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and I'm not that impressed. Maybe Kitzbühel would be better.

On a clear skies day, the Zugspitze peak platform in unbeatable in terms of vast, expansive views. Kitzbuhel has more things to do if the weather is not that great though.

Thanks - we've seen Zugzpitze (most impressive) so will spend a day in Kitzbuhel.
