I will be flying into Geneva Sept 8th and leaving Geneva Sept 14th. My
company is having a party in Chamonix but only until the 9th so I'm on
my own after that. Any suggestions? Thanks

Annecy is close by and is a beautiful city with canals, mountains, lake and waterfront park.
My personal opinion - don't worry about spending time in Geneva...
