Kensington Paris Db room for 2 adults + 1 child?

I am trying to get a room for my wife, my 8 years old daughter and myself in Paris. Hotel Kensington has offered me a Double room with an extra bed. Can anyone with experience in their double bed room with bath comment on if this would work reasonably? Also, are there good bakeries/breakfast places near by (preferably on the way to Eiffel Tower or the Metro station)?

For almost EURO 50 more per night, I could be staying in a renovated Triple room in Grand Leveque. I would appreciate any comments on if it is worth it. I apologize for posing a very sujective question. Any opinions would be helpful.

Thanks,

Srini

I have stayed here 2X and will stay again any time but summers. This hotel has no air cond. but elevators, location, price etc are great! Skip breakfast here and just walk around the block to a few breakfast cafes. The rooms are small in general however a larger room nr back nr alley is bigger and would work for children well.

WCK,

I assume your comment was about Kensington?
