We bought the above pass today 6/8/09 and are traveling on 6/16/09-7/2/09. We fly into Amsterdam, head down to Paris, on to Barcelona and then up to somewhere in Germany. Problem is we need to get back to Amsterdam to fly out on the 2nd and on our pass we can't get to the Dam from Germany, unless we buy a separate,$$$ train pass. Question is, will Eurail allow us to change our 4th country to something more convenient? Thanks for any advice.

You need to be more specific. German Rail has lots of Europa-Spezial fares to Amsterdam from places in Germany (Köln from €19, Frankfurt from €39, pP). That's probably less expensive than changing the railpass. If you are going to be closer to Brussels, get a ticket to there and use the Benelux portion of your pass from there.
BTW, what is you current 4th country, and how did you make that mistake?
Update: I went to the Eurail website and the RailEurope website, and neither says anything about changing or refunding railpasses once purchased. Whoever you got the pass from, call them.

It wasn't a mistake to go to Germany,our 4th country of the trip. We just didn't realize Berlin, where we want to go, was going to be so expensive train-wise getting back to the Dam. Sounds like the suggestions you made with German-Rail will be helpful. Thanks!
