Family of 4 (two age 12). Had planned to spend 2 weeks in France, but after reading Rick's famly post about the Alps.....if we could stretch it to three weeks- would this be "do-able" ? Thank you in advance.

In order for us to give you a well considered answer please give more info. Where in France will you be for the first 2 weeks? What time of year? What do you hope to see and do in Switzerland? Will you have a car? Take the train? You get the idea. More info please.

If you're wondering about spending time with 12-year-olds in the French Alps, then I say do it! I loved my time in Anency and Chamonix and there lots of things for kids to enjoy. The hike along the balcony in Chamonix would be super for them. There are other activities as well. In Anency you can explore the lakes and do all kinds of activities. Pam
