We plan to be at the Jodlerfest in Lucerne, Switzerland from June 27-29, 20008. Does anyone know how we can enter one or more of the yodeling contests?

Grindelwald Yodelling Festival (Bernese Oberland)
Under colourful parasols, people meet under the open sky, surrounded by meadows, flowers and rushing mountain streams to hear the sound of Switzerland. This ages old folk festival takes place at the beginning of July at Bachläger Alp on First Mountain (2,000 metres). Email the Grindelwald Tourist Centre for more information: [email protected]

Can I stow away in your suitcase? I couldn't talk anyone in my family into going to this and we even have cousins who will likely be competing. As for entering, I don't know how. You know that Swiss yodeling is nothing like Apalachian country-style yodeling, right? It is actually a little more like the Swiss version of barbershop groups--4 part harmony verses with the yodel (not high-speed vocal gymnastics, but stately almost like chanting) as the chorus. Very beautiful and sometimes quite haunting.
