ix EP: Arrive inMarseille or Aix EP Train Station-which is a better option?

In the midst of sorting out our train tickets for this travel sector of ours. Could someone please advise which train station is easier (Marseille vs. Aix) that is either arriving in Marseille and taking a bus from there to Aix vs. arriving in Aix TGV train station and getting a bus to Aix town center. We will be staying in Aix. Would Marseille have more frequent buses to Aix? Thank you!
