We are going to be in Paris for 4 days,then to Amboise for 2 days, onto Bordeaux for 2 days, to Sarlat for 2 days, then to Nice(All by train). My question is what is the best way to get to Toulouse to fly to Nice? Or is there a better place to fly from near Sarlat? Joyce

Joyce you'll backtrack from Bordeaux back to Sarlat. Unless you're really into Bordeaux wines, maybe consider going to Carcassonne instead and training to Nice?

Just another thought - I think the Languedoc area is much more scenic than Bordeaux and it is the largest wine producing region in France. You can find many small producers with interesting experimental varieties. My feeling about touring Bordeaux is that you would see larger commercial producers and a very defined classification of wines.
