Itinerary opinions on a 2 months trip

woman traveling solo for 2 months (March-April 2013). What are the opinions on this itinerary:
fly in Malaga,Spain and return from Amsterdam. Thinking of Malaga, Cote d'Azur, Corsica (for trecking), Toscany, Amalfi Coast. Salzburg, Insbruck, Linz Austria and then Amsterdam. Traveling would be a combination of train, rental car, low cost flight from Italy to Austria.

chantal,,have you looked at the weather for those places for March -April,, March is apparently one of Corsicas wetter months, perhaps not ideal for trekking. Austria and the Nederlands will be wet and cool /cold too. Is this trip to center around hiking? If not, then perhaps work a few more places in that will have some indoor sites.. or if you can, push trip to April-early May.

Chantal, Visiting nine locations in 60 days will allow a bit more than six days in each place. However, it's extremely important to factor in the travel times, which in some cases will be the better part of day. The pace should be good as you have lots of time. Were you planning on visiting these locations in the order you listed? That doesn't seem like the most efficient route. Also, which locations in Tuscany (Toscana) and the Amalfi Coast are you planning to visit? Good luck with your planning!

the trip is not around hiking. The reason for Netherlands is to be there for Keukenhof at the end of April beginning of May. I thought to do it in that order. Starting in South of Spain for hopefully nice weather then go up to Cote d'azur stopping in some villages along the way to be able to take the ferry to go to Corsica (now I have some doubts) then from Corsica take the ferry for Italy which would arrive in Toscany. Again on the way see small villages and as fas as Amalfi Coast, I was thinking to take a 3-4 days tour or stay in Praiano. Then a low cost flight to Salzburg-Insbruck....
