Active family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) has between July 1 and 6 open for travel between Barcelona and Paris. Leaving Barcelona July 1, must return to Barcelona by July 6. Would like to spend at least a couple days in Paris. Looking for interesting itinerary options. Ideas?

My suggestion: July 1 - fly to Paris. Enjoy Paris. July 6 - Fly back to Barcelona. It's a looooong drive (BTDT) between the two. You can stop in Beaune/Dijon or Lyon on the way to or from without going out of your way. FYI: French schools end on July 1st. You can expect higher than normal road traffic on the 2nd and 3rd.
