Itinerary: Fill-in-the-blank

Any suggestions for our fill-in-the-blank itinerary will be appreciated! We will let you know if we choose your idea! Sorry we don't have any prizes for the winner. We will not have a car- so please keep that in mind.

July 8: flight arrives in Geneva- go straight to Lauterbrunnen

July 9-13: Gimmelwald

July 13-16: Munich (possible side trip to Ulm)

July 16-23: _____________________?

July 23: Flight departs out of Geneva at 5:30pm

We are flexible with the Munich dates as we have not booked lodging yet.

You have a whole week! There are quite a few places you could go that would be easy to get to by train from Munich/to Geneva. Without knowing where you've already been and whether you want more city time or country time, I'll throw out places in the region I think are wonderful and make sense for your trip: Salzburg and the Salzkammergut Lake District, Alsace (Strausbourg and Colmar), Burgundy (based in Beaune)...if you haven't been Paris, that would be easy too.
