I would like to get some advice on a train trip with at least one nice stopover of 2 night. I can leave Sept 2009 from Barcelona or Costa Brava and need to arrive in Paris in 2 or 3 nights. The stops could be 1/ in Lourie Valley, where and how to enjoy wine tasting at vineyard/Chateau. or 2/ also maybe a trip to Reims and Champagne Country
Rheims is way out of your way between Spain and Paris. You could stop off at Bordeaux if you're interested in wine.
My recommended route would be:
Barcelona - Toulouse via Latour de Carol, a little known mountain route that will take most of the day but has incredible Pyrenean scenery. You need to change and book a second ticket at La Tour de Carol as the Spanish and French railways are different gauges. Note that you CANNOT book tickets in advance from Barcelona to La Tour de Carol as despite going all the way to the French border it is officially regarded as a suburban train! But booking tickets on the day isn't too hard and the train shouldn't be overcrowded.
If you leave Barcelona earlyish you should have time to get an express from Toulouse to Bordeaux, but it might be worth spending the night there, it's an interesting city.
Then spend a few days in Bordeaux and go from there to Paris. I highly recommend a day trip to the wine town of Saint Emilion which as well as wine has a fascinating cavern church.
