I think the first thing to do is purchase Rick's France book and get familiar with the different areas. The book also contains lots of info as to museum tickets, transportation etc..
In 10 days you'll need to choose 1 or 2 destinations and then work out the logistics.
As Kent has already alluded to I don't think you'll find Rick recommending a resort near Disney as your base.
Many people here can give you answers to specifics but can't plan your trip out for you. Rick's staff is always more than willing to answer questions if you want to e-mail them.

Run, don't walk to the RS people to help and buy both the France and Paris books. You'll be there almost the same dates as us (we leave the 11th for 10 days), and we've been loosely planning this since last August. OK, you can plan some of this quickly, my only other trip to Paris was done in a month, but I lived and breathed the RS Paris book before I left and then let it guide me when I got there. But you're talking about more than Paris! You'll need some help to get all this together in time for your trip. And ditto what Kent said, or didn't say (LOL) about Disney (we're doing Disney as a daytrip from Paris- you can get there easily in less than an hour, but staying in Paris is MUCH better).

Thank you for your reply and help. We're staying at Disney because it's the time share booking.
I do have RS guidebook as well as his DVD and use them for my planning.
I plan to commute from Disney into Paris by TGV & RER.
The last 3-4 days I plan to rent a car to go to Normandy, Mont St. Michel and maybe Loire Valley, do I
have enough time?
To get from CDG Airport to Disney I understand that I will take TGV Line B and connect to Line is that correct? I plan to travel light ,is it ok to get to Disney by train?
I would appreciate your advice & opinion on my plan.
