Italian lake region to Munich

We will be traveling next fall to the Italian Lake Region and then onto Munich. We will travel by car. Does anyone have a suggested itinerary. Where to go, sites and towns to see on the way to Munich. Thanks

If you look at a map, you will see lots of towns between those two points. Choose practical distances to travel each day and google search for the town plus "sights", read about them and decide which you want to see.

Florence, Bologna, Verona, Innsbruck and Salzburg come to mind. And there are others.

Hi,

This is very hard as there are so many places! A start...

In Italy (Sud Tirol):
Bozen/Bolzano
A night or two in the Dolomites (Val Gardena)
Brixen/Bressanone
Sterzing/Vipiteno

Austria:
Innsbruck and area
Salzburg

Germany:
Mittenwald
Fuessen and area
Oberammergau
Berchtesgaden area (by Salzburg)

You can "google" these places to more info.

They're all very good in my opinion, although we're especially partial to the Dolomites and Brixen in particular.

Hope this helps.
