I am finishing my studies in Rome and will be flying to Barcelona with all my luggage. after Barca i will continue my travels with my Eurail pass in France and Germany then making it back to Madrid to fly home. I was wondering if there is a way i can send my bigger suitcase to Madrid and have them hold it for me until i fly home? for it would be a major pain lugging both bags around. Please help me out

Unfortunately I don't think there is an easy way to do that. When our son finished his Madrid program, he sold or gave away a lot of his items just so he didn't have to lug that stuff around. Any option will be expensive - just a matter of how expensive. One option would be to ship directly home from Rome. You can go to a UPS or FedEx web site for a rate quote. Another option would be to ship directly to the hotel that you are using in Madrid provided that they are willing to hold the suitcase till you arrive. Also, FedEx or UPS might have a will call office in Madrid.

I would think about shipping your bags to your final hotel. I know this is routinely done, for instance with bicycle tours. You ought to be able to find a hotel that will agree to hold your bags for you. So think hotel, not airport.
