My wife and I are headed through Salzburg in mid-November and will be there two nights/three days. We're specifically going for the start of the Christmas Market, and we're wondering if the Salzburg Card is worth the price or if we should just pay as we go and walk the town to see the sites. A few years ago we used the card and found it saved quite a bit and also gave us the ability to use the buses. We stayed near the railway station, so it was handy. If you are in the old town, it may not be as useful, depending onh how many sites you plan to visit.

Thanks. We are staying in the Old Town so I hope to be close to the markets. With it being the last stop on our trip I may just wait and see how we feel about seeing tons of places or just relaxing with lazy strolls through the streets.
