Or is it better to get the RailAway? We will be there for 7 days total. Mostly in Zurich, also in Basel. We will be using only trains. No car. Thanks!

The Half Fare card now costs 110 CHF. Your travel would have to add up to at least 220 CHF before it would begin to pay for itself. It is unlikely that daybtrips from Zurich would add up to that, but if you are doing the expensive Jungfrau trip it might. You can find the fares to different points from Zurich on the Swiss rail site, www.sbb.ch or www.rail.ch for English.
