Can anyone tell me whether or not Restaurant La Serre at 29 rue de l'Exposition (in Paris' 7th arr.) still open? And if so, are Marie-Alice and Philippe still running the place. Or have they decided to concentrate on running their hotel in the rue Cler? It's been a while since I was last in Paris, but I always enjoyed eating there. In fact, I can remember when the restaurant was located in the rue Cler before they were forced to move. On a cold winter's day, Marie-Alice's cassoulet was nothing short of awesome. There appears to be a restaurant called La Billebaude in that location now. Of course it's possible it's the same owners. If they run a hotel you could just call and ask them. Also if you want specific info on a specific restaurant in Paris, asking a Europe-wide travel board seems kinda pointless? Like, idk, Chowhound has a Paris section. There's other Paris dining sites on the Internet.
