Domremy la Poucelle, her birth town, is perhaps a half hour off our tentative route on Fri Apr 24 as we drive from Nancy in Lorraine to south or east of Paris. We think it might make an interesting morning stop & then will probably visit Fontainebleau (or Vaux le Vicomte?) that afternoon. Hope to get chambre d'hote or small budget hotel somewhere out from south or east side of Paris (prefer semi-rural or small town lodging). Also, suggestions on latter appreciated as well as for same on Thurs nite near or southwest of Nancy. Hope to get Paris area lodging that is within a reasonable drive to a train station where can commute into Paris & back out on Sat. Does this all sound do-able? Alternative suggestions?
